Greetings from the ICSB Immediate Past President, Rob van der Horst. One of my roles as past president is the chairing of the Nominating Committee for the next slate of officers. We have made the nominating process as transparent as possible. We ask that all who believe they can serve ICSB, do so by serving on the Board of Directors. If you have the experience and will, I invite you to review the survey and submit a name for the 2009-2010 slate of officers. If you have any questions, please contact me ( rvh@eim.nl) or the International Office ( icsb@gwu.edu - tel +1-202-994-0704).
Instructions for nominating:
Step One
Any ICSB member may recommend candidates to the Nominating Committee for consideration. A request for nominees shall be circulated by the International Office to all members at least 60 days prior to the first formal meeting of the Nominating Committee with a reminder 30 days prior. The first formal meeting of this years' Nominating Committee will be on 8 January 2009.
Step Two
The names shall be submitted in writing and signed by the nominator and the nominee to the International Office. The nominee shall send to the IO office via email ( icsb@gwu.edu) or fax (+1-202-994-4930) the following: (1) a one page biography setting out their recent and relevant experience and qualifications that qualifies them for acting in that position on the Board; and, (2) a one page explanation of why they want to serve and what they can bring to the ICSB through assuming that posi-tion on the Board.
