Two
Chairs in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources Management
(Ref. 0016-4)
The University of Exeter
has ambitious plans for growth. Capital projects to the value of £275 million
pounds will, by the end of 2012, transform our already beautiful campus into
something that is truly world-class. And during the course of the next twelve
months we will be building on our very considerable research strengths with
over 100 new academic appointments.
Central to our plans
for growth is the University of Exeter Business School which will double in
size by 2013. Work is well underway to construct stunning new facilities –
including a brand new, environmentally sustainable building that will be ready
for occupation in 2011 – and the first major tranche of recruitment will see
appointments to 21 new posts in 2010, including those advertised here.
The Business School
has a rich research culture and was comfortably placed in the top 20 for
research in the last Research Assessment Exercise. Our student experience is
second to none and we are currently the top ranked Business School
in the National Student Survey – a position we have held for the last four
years. The 2009 Times Good University
Guide placed every one of our subject areas in the Top 10 – a fact which
may be contributing to the exceptional demand for places which we are currently
experiencing from home and international students alike.
We are looking for exceptional people who wish to
contribute to a vibrant and growing business School.
We wish to appoint
two Chairs in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources Management from 1
September 2010. The successful
candidates will be able to demonstrate their ability and enthusiasm to
contribute positively in a leadership role to the research output, reputation
and teaching/development activities of the Department of Management and the Business School.
We offer a
highly competitive remuneration package.
