Affiliates and Chapters
The International Council for Small Business is the world’s largest international SME organization dedicated to advancing small business and entrepreneurship, coordinates and integrates programs and information among its 1,800 plus members in 70 countries joined through ten affiliates in Australia/New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, Europe, Japan, Korea, Puerto Rico and Caribbean, Taiwan and the United States.
Each affiliate agrees to report to ICSB executive officers of its plan and steps to fulfill the goal, of the progress, and of the use of the fund, via ICSB SVP-Membership & Affiliate.
Affiliates maintain current membership counts per annum and report to the ICSB International Office quarterly in order to receive relevant information such as Bulletins and Journals.
Perhaps the most important responsibility of an Affiliate Office is to maintain ongoing communication with the International Office. The International Office serves ICSB’s Affiliates, board of directors and members. In order to serve these various constituencies, the International Office must be kept updated of the current status of various affairs at the Affiliate level.
